If you are arriving by car, there are 3 free parking spaces available for you to use.
Please note that outside the castle park parking lots (P1, P2, P3), a free short-term parking zone (90 minutes with parking meter) applies throughout the entire town area.

Approximately 10 minutes' walk to the main entrance.
From here, the castle park slow train runs to the main entrance.

From here, our low-floor shuttle bus runs daily to the main entrance during the Christmas holidays from 5:00 p.m. – free of charge for all ticket holders.

For a car-free arrival, this year we are again offering a shuttle bus from Vienna and back.

By public transport
Arrival by public transport is possible, please also note the last possible return journey on departure!
From Vienna Central Station take bus no. 200 to Laxenburg Franz-Josephs-Platz (journey time 30 minutes). From there, walk 3 minutes to the main entrance of the palace park (P1).
From Mödling train station take bus 215 to Laxenburg Franz-Josephs-Platz 3 (journey time 20 minutes). From there it is a 3-minute walk to the main entrance of the Schlosspark (P1).
Bus line 215 Wiener Neudorf train station (Hauptstraße) Laxenburg Franz-Josephs-Platz Travel time approx. 10 minutes from Laxenburg Franz-Josephs-Platz 3 minutes' walk to the entrance gate Schlossplatz (P1).
