As dusk falls, Laxenburg Palace Park is once again transformed into a glowing fantasy world – Illumina is back! And it's bigger, more spectacular, and more international than ever: in 2026, you can look forward to a brand-new, three-kilometer circular trail that will take you through a whole new dimension of light art.

November 26, 2013, to January 6, 2014, daily from 4:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
January 7, 2027, to January 10, 2027, daily from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Convenient shuttle bus service from Vienna!
For a car-free journey, we are once again offering a shuttle bus service from Vienna and back. The comfortable shuttle bus will take you and your family (strollers can be transported inside the bus) directly to the entrance of the castle park.
Combined ticket including bus – also valid on sold-out days.

P3 shuttle at the weekend
Free shuttle bus service from car park P3 to 200 metres in front of the main entrance and back for all holders of a ticket for the light garden. The low-floor bus runs every 7-10 minutes between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. and can accommodate wheelchairs and prams.

Visitors can recharge their batteries for the circular trail in our two dining areas along the route. A wide range of regional food and drinks awaits you.
From traditional delicacies and sweet treats to vegetarian and vegan options, there is something for everyone. Punch and other warm beverages invite you to linger in our magical world of lights.

Since children's eyes light up especially brightly in our light garden, we offer families a discounted combination ticket (2 adults and up to 3 children (6-14 years old); children under 5 are always free).
